War for the Overworld is a real-time strategy video game developed by Subterranean Games, which changed its name to Brightrock Games based in Brighton, UK.The game started as a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, which ran from November 29, 2012, to January 3, 2013.In the game, players build dungeons containing deadly traps to kill adventuring heroes that enter. To ensure cross-compatibility we had to make War for the Overworld run on these operating systems as well. This has been a staggering technical achievement on behalf of our programmers, with the only discernible side effect being that War for the Overworld is no longer compatible with Windows 7, 8 or 10, Mac OS X, or Linux. War for the Overworld is the unofficial sequel/re-brand/tribute to Bullfrogs Dungeon Keeper series; Bullfrog released DK 1 & 2 then called it quits. Now some of the devs brought an unofficial sequel packed with the original voice narrator to bring a fresh new outlook on the dungeon lord game style. This game is just as fun as the original counterpart, with added game experiences. From an old school gamer; you will love this if you are into rpg and real time strategy type games.
